Miss Atomic Bomb

The "BOOM!" sweater dress was one of my favorite pieces from the 3.1. Phillip Lim for Target collection. I chose a matte red lip to highlight the text in the sweater and kept my eyes simple with my signature cat eye.

One more day. Actually, less than two hours! Yes, it's almost here. Altuzarra for Target will hit Target stores, www.Target.com and www.Net-a-Porter.com tomorrow! So in honor of the event, here is one last quick post for our countdown, highlighting another 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target look.

For my jewelry, I chose Betsey Johnson heart studs to highlight the red in the sweater and a Marc by Marc Jacobs gold charm bracelet with "MARC" spelled out in gold charms.

The 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target line is my favorite high-end collaboration to date. The collection featured over 100 women's and men's clothing and accessories, much of which resembled clothes and accessories from Lim's own line. The "BOOM!" print featured on this sweater dress, a sweatshirt and scarf from the collaboration resembles Lim's "Ka-Pow!" sweatshirt from his pre-fall 2012 collection. The most coveted pieces form the Target line were the bags, many of which were inspired by Lim's high-end bags.

The iconic Pashli bag from Lim's own collection retails anywhere from $650 to $825. The Target line offered the perfect alternative at $34.99 for the small bag (pictured here and also sold in black and gray) and at $54.99 for the large tote. Talk about the look for less. Budget fashionistas like myself were able to get the look of Lim's actual line, designed by Lim and for mere fractions of the inspiration pieces.

The "BOOM!" sweater dress was one of my favorites. The quality is exceptional at only $44.99. The sweater is baggier toward the top, but hugs closely to the hips, creating a flattering curve before reaching the black chiffon skirt, which peeks out beneath the sweater.

To style this look, I chose my Sam Edelman ankle-strap pumps, a tried and true favorite of mine that are surprisingly comfortable. I got these for a steal at Nordstrom Rack. I chose red heart Betsey Johnson studs, a gold Marc by Marc Jacobs charm bracelet and a Juicy Couture cherry heart ring for my jewelry. For makeup, I stuck to my signatures: a bold, matte red lip and simple cat eye.
